Butch Mosby
A dedicated community leader and visionary, Butch Mosby is the Co-Founder of Sponsor 4 Success, an organization focused on empowering underserved communities by providing mentorship, resources, and access to opportunities. With deep roots in Louisville’s West End, Butch has leveraged his experience to uplift youth and strengthen community ties. His leadership has driven impactful programs and fostered a culture of giving back to the neighborhoods that shaped him.

Lamar Young is a recruitment leader and entrepreneur dedicated to transforming underserved communities. As Co-Founder of Sponsor 4 Success, he collaborates to create educational and economic pathways that empower individuals to unlock their full potential and thrive.

bethany morgan
Bethany grew up in the west end of Louisville. She holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Bethany Clarkson-Morgan has been a part of the BP family for 24 years and is currently in the S+ORA (Safety and Operational Risk Assurance) organization, serving as the Assurance Programme Lead for the Americas. Bethany volunteers with several nonprofits, including S4S (serving as Vice President), the Houston Livestock and Rodeo—Black Heritage and Agricultural Education committees, Advisory School Council for St. Mary of the Purification Catholic School. She serves as a member of BP University of Houston recruiting team, and BP rep for the National Society Board of Corporate Affiliate.

Rev. Nerrick Jackson
Nerrick Jackson is the Director of Supply Chain Operations for the Zappos Family of Companies and the Senior Pastor of the Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky. It is his life mission to give hope to the hopeless. He is married to Tricia A.Jackson. Together they have 3 children.

Jamie Fisher
Dr. Jamie D. Fisher is a native of Louisville’s West End Community. She received her PhD from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Fisher is Owner, Speech & Swallowing Pathologist, Endoscopist, and CE-Training Course Director at Nashville Speech & Swallowing Specialists, PLLC and is involved in multiple community service projects including directing the Central High School Alumni Give-Back Career Mentoring & Scholarship Program.

Heather EMMICK
Heather grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and still considers it home. As a graduate of Western Kentucky University, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology.

Melissa ROdDen-Mays
Melissa grew up in the south end of Flint, Michigan. She holds a B.A. in History from Berea College and a J.D. in Law from the University of Kentucky. She has been a practicing attorney for almost 30 years, including successfully owning a solo law firm in Louisville, Kentucky for the last ten years. Growing up in the economically challenged area of her city gave Melissa insights into the disparity of options for young people, depending on the part of town they lived. She is blessed that educational opportunities gave her a chance for success and she wants to help others have that same opportunity.

Shawn Mucker
Shawn Mucker, grew up in the West end of Louisville, is a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Office of Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods and a U.S. Army veteran. He is passionate about mentoring young Black men in underserved communities. Shawn serves on the boards of Sponsor 4 Success (S4S) and the Community of Opportunity. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management from American National University.

Lauren Muir
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and co-owner of Martin and Muir Counseling. Lauren is the current President of the Kentucky Counseling Association and serves as Director of Sponsorships for Mindfest Lou, a community mental health festival. She is an inspiring changemaker, committed to making a lasting difference in her community.

Musa Furr
Musa Furr is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force and is currently a Senior Systems Engineer and Software Test Manager who has a passion for closing the wealth gap in underserved communities. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville Speed School.
