S4S HOUSING PROCESS
We Acquire
Homes that have been neglected for extended periods of time and are a blight on the area are targeted by us. These properties often originate from negligent landlords and home owners, leaving them vacant for years at a time.
We REhab
Rather than having to observe an untidy eyesore, local residents can now feel pride in their community with the rehabilitation of formerly vacant and neglected properties. These dwellings are now a wonderful addition to the neighborhood landscape.
We Educate
Prospective tenants must take part in a certification program before renting from us. The purpose of the program is to ensure all our renters understand their responsibility as tenants and how important it is, for them, to maintain the property they are occupying.
WE RENt
With growth in a neighborhood, rental rates often soar, making it difficult for long-term residents to remain. Our program offers tenants the chance to stay in their own community with discounted rental rates up to 40% lower than the market price.
We keep it local
We select local general contractors and subcontractors who are able to provide the service that we need on a timely basis. By using local businesses, we provide jobs in our community, which has a positive effect on income and employment rate.
